This interactive art class during the 2024 Occoquan Fall Arts & Crafts Show is fun and easy for all ages and skill levels! Each student will complete an 11x14 painting in acrylic on canvas.​

From start to finish, the class normally takes about 60-80 minutes. All supplies will be provided. Students should wear clothing they don't mind getting a spot of paint on. This event will take place indoors, in Occoquan Town Hall (314 Mill Street, Occoquan, VA).

About the Instructor: Rachael Bright is the owner of Local Colour and is also an artist herself. One of her joys is sharing art and the joys of painting with everyone. Her favorite medium is acrylic, and she frequently uses it to teach classes as it is a fun and easy medium for beginners to work with. You can see Rachael's artwork featured at Local Colour in historic Occoquan, Virginia, where she creates custom pieces and hosts classes.
